Once again, FactCheck.org has been awarded the Webby for best politics website by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. The announcement was made May 1.
This makes us a four-time winner of the prestigious Webby Award. The awards are recognized as the “Oscars of the Internet.”
And FactCheck.org also would like to thank all of our loyal readers for making us the People’s Voice Award Winner. We are now a five-time winner of this award after four consecutive wins from 2007 to 2010.
Our fellow nominees in the politics category included NPR Politics, the Center for Responsive Politics’ OpenSecrets.org, Politico and Truthdig. So we are truly honored by both of our wins this year.
